With the recent delivery of JetWave hardware to an Eclipse customer and the pending activation of the first Global Xpress customer via Eclipse’s joint venture Aero-Satcom, Eclipse’s satcom lab in Paris, France, has entered the age of high throughput satellite (HTS) technology with the installation of a JetWave system.
Eclipse’s satcom lab has been used for many years to host customers as they evaluate system performance, develop new applications and conduct systems integration testing.
The company already has customers scheduled to visit in the coming weeks to see first-hand what it hails as a step forward in the airborne satcom environment.
