EAD Aerospace has attained an EASA STC, validated by the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia (GACA), for the installation of Honeywell’s JetWave Ka-band system on a VIP A340. The STC was achieved in partnership with a Middle Eastern MRO for a customer in the Middle East.
EAD Aerospace’s Satcom Universal Mounting System (SUMS) forms the basis of the solution. SUMS also features in STC projects conducted by EAD Aerospace partners for the A320, A330, B777 and B747 platforms.
