The new Embraer Phenom 300E features a customized version of Lufthansa Technik’s nice HD CMS/IFE system. The specially developed GUI enables full control of the cabin, and custom backgrounds that can be selected by the user.
Embraer will offer configurations with audio, or audio and video. The system supports private and protected content, as well as Blu-ray disc playback. It can stream AVOD content – including the niceviewMobile moving map and nicemedia applications – to PEDs. There are also custom-built 7in fold-down monitors.
Other features include encoded USB/HDMI media; Bluetooth pairing; 802.11ac wireless LAN @ 1.5Gb; a wireless interface that is compatible with iOS, Android and Windows interfaces; and a custom audio system with new amplifiers and speakers, including subwoofer.
