Alto Aviation has launched a new direct-replacement solution for Baker passenger controls. The controls are replaced with Alto Cadence CMS switch panels.
This solution is FAA TSO-C139a approved. It was designed in-house to upgrade old MHL3 and MHL4 Baker panels, expanding the company’s Cadence CMS offering that already offers replacement solutions for various cabin switches, including for Airshow, Audio International, Lufthansa nice, and Pacific Systems Micronet equipment.
Alto Aviation currently offers more than 30 unique replacement switch series bezels designed to provide seamless installation and fit with any interior design concept. This solution does not require software for basic CMS functionality and supports full CMS and IFE functionality, including cabin audio.
As with all of Alto Aviation’s Cadence CMS solutions, the new offering is intended to save installation costs by preserving existing woodwork, retaining cut-outs. Alto says the solution enables clients to seamlessly upgrade obsolete Baker switch panels and add new functionalities, including Bluetooth audio, HDMI and USB ports.
“The introduction of our Alto Cadence CMS replacement for obsolete Baker passenger controls represents our continued commitment to anticipate and provide our clients with innovative, effective ideas that solve obsolescence, reduce wood rework and significantly save in installation costs and resources,” said Kevin Hayes, vice president of sales and marketing at Alto Aviation.
