Alto Aviation has unveiled new IFE and Cadence CMS upgrade programmes for retrofit on all business aircraft. The company said its 2021 programmes include various “no-compromise, budget-friendly” options for upgrading cabin audio and entertainment.
A wide selection of direct-replacement and fit-compatible passenger controls and bezels are available. All the solutions preserve wood and furnishings, serving all styles, including Micronet round, squared, raised oval button and concave curved sideledge panels.
Alto says the upgrades offer the possibility of easy integration or full replacement of an aircraft’s existing CMS with its new System Master Controller. This module links CMS components with various communication protocols.
All the 2021 upgrade programmes have a modular approach, so they can be scaled to meet exact requirements. For example, headphone functionality can be removed easily and replaced with blanking plates. The panels can be repurposed with USB, local table lighting can be added to the former headphone locations, and the former PSU panels can be eliminated, all within the constraints of the original panel. Alto says this simple design step eliminates nearly 40% of the existing panels, resulting in lower installation costs.
“The new 2021 Alto IFE and Cadence CMS solutions for retrofit business aircraft allowed us to meet the highest demands of our customers in a very budget-friendly, modular approach without any compromise of quality in the performance and trusted excellent customer support from our team,” said Kevin Hayes, vice president of sales and marketing. “We look forward to continuing providing innovative solutions designed with simplicity in mind for the retrofit aircraft.”
