A new source equipment trim plate has been unveiled by Alto Aviation. The fit-compatible plate has Bluetooth provisions and replaces traditional single DIN packaged units.
Responding to the proliferation of PEDs with no headphone jacks, Alto Aviation has defined a Bluetooth product that allows them to pair with the IFE system. The new trim plate adapts to the actual hole size, a feature intended to minimise the amount of effort required to update legacy systems.
“As a part of our simplify philosophy, we continue to develop simple fit-compatible solutions to add Bluetooth capability to existing or new IFE systems,” said Kevin Hayes, Alto Aviation’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Alto’s new source equipment trim plate adapter is just another example of our forward-thinking methodology. We’re keeping things simple for our customers by providing them with premium cabin solutions designed with simplicity and outstanding performance in mind.”
