Volato Group has announced the first of its HondaJet fleet is now equipped with the SmartSky Lite inflight connectivity system. The installation follows the previously announced agreement to equip the Volato HondaJet fleet with SmartSky Lite systems.
“Volato is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations on every flight,” said Matt Liotta, CEO of Volato. “The addition of SmartSky’s next-generation inflight connectivity is a direct response to customer feedback and underscores our commitment to delivering a superior inflight experience. Early feedback indicates our passengers will be thrilled with the seamless connection and blazing-fast speeds.”
Solutions based on SmartSky’s air-to-ground (ATG) inflight connectivity network are available for all sizes of business aircraft, with STCs available and in progress to cover more than 16,000 in-service aircraft. The SmartSky Lite system enables streaming-level connectivity for small business aircraft.
“We couldn’t be happier for Volato and their customers who are now enjoying the benefits of SmartSky when they fly,” said Paul Sameit, VP of fleet and reseller accounts for SmartSky.
The installation was performed by Banyan Air Service at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Banyan will complete additional installations on Volato’s 20+ HondaJet fleet in the future.
