F/List has forged ahead with its expansion plans by opening a new facility in Westminster, Jefferson County, Colorado. The site was chosen for its proximity to Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, which is home to one of F/List’s biggest partners, Pilatus Business Aircraft.
The site was leased by F/List Colorado, a subsidiary of the Austrian family-run company known for manufacturing interiors for business and private jets, yachts and luxury residences.
The company says the new site will ensure easier coordination with local partners; as well as the fast and efficient realisation of highly sophisticated refurbishment and cabin modification projects as well as product support. It adds that the establishment will guarantee prompt and precise execution of its aircraft aftermarket services for North American customers.
“F/List has enjoyed stable growth in the aviation market since 2004,” said Thomas Mayr, general manager, F/List Colorado. “We are pleased to continue our success story and expand our operations here in Westminster.”
The project will initially create an estimated 10 jobs and bring more than US$500,000 in capital investment to the county. A potential expansion could bring more than 50 headquarter jobs to Jefferson County within the next couple of years. The company expects to begin full operations in Westminster in January 2020.
Jeffco EDC, in partnership with Westminster and OEDIT, has been working with F/List for more than two years on the expansion project.
In addition to all aircraft-related services, the F/List staff are prepared to handle residential interior projects as well. In cooperation with many designers and architects, F/List plans and manufactures interiors for mansions, apartments and offices, managing and coordinating all subcontractors.
