Global Aviation Technologies (GAT) intends to offer a version of the Premier 1A with improved payload, fuel capacity, range (1,770 nautical miles) and time to climb, as well as interior upgrades. The Premier Elite should be available from the fourth quarter of 2018, for US$479,632.
“A test aircraft will begin structural modification, verification and certification testing in April 2018,” said Woody Cottner, vice president of business development at GAT. “The modification of an existing Premier airframe should take approximately six to eight weeks.”
Avionics and interior upgrades under consideration include a Rockwell Collins package with ADS-B and WAAS/LPV guidance, IFE system and fabric and leather upholstery, carpets and custom cabinetry.
