Gulfstream Aerospace has appointed Edmiston, a yacht brokerage and management company, as the authorized international sales representative (ISR) for Gulfstream business aircraft sales activities in the United Kingdom and Channel Islands.
Under the agreement, Edmiston will be responsible for promoting and supporting Gulfstream with customers and prospects throughout the region.
Scott Neal, senior vice president, worldwide sales, Gulfstream, said, “Edmiston is well-respected in their industry and was an excellent partner choice given their strong customer relationships and shared focus on sustainability.”
Gulfstream opened its LEED-certified 225,000ft2 (20,903m2) service center at Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom in 2020. The center includes rainwater harvesting, hangar radiant heating, intelligent lighting controls and heat recovery systems. Gulfstream was also the first original equipment manufacturer to fly on 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and the first business jet to cross the Atlantic using SAF.
“We have long been known as innovators in both business and marketing, working with leaders in their fields,” said Jamie Edmiston, chief executive, Edmiston. “I am delighted to be partnering with Gulfstream, the industry leader in sustainability, and with the most highly regarded fleet of business jets.”
Edmiston operates in London at the Edmiston London Heliport and Farnborough Airport.
