A Bombardier Global Express has joined FAI rent-a-jet’s aircraft management fleet. It is the seventh Global Express for FAI. The German operator now has a fleet of 29 aircraft, of which 13 are managed.
The aircraft is registered in the Isle of Man. FAI anticipates adding the aircraft to its AOC at the beginning of 2021 and making it available for turnkey charter operations thereafter. In the meantime, it will be NCC-operated by FAI on behalf of the corporate owner.
The Global Express accommodates 12 passengers; the layout includes a four-seat double-club configuration and a three-seat divan. The interior features tan leather and macassar veneer woodwork.
High-speed wi-fi internet/VoIP service is provided by Honeywell’s Ka-band system. Other equipment includes the Collins Venue CMS, Alto speakers, Emteq light show and full HD monitors.
“We are very pleased to welcome our seventh Global Express, which remains one of our most popular aircraft types for long-range missions,” said Siegfried Axtmann, chairman of the FAI Aviation Group. “Through our management contracts we provide value for aircraft owners, who can rely on us to manage all of their aircraft requirements to a high standard and offer charter clients a diverse fleet from which to choose.”
