Bombardier has delivered the first of three Global 6000 business jets from its Specialized Aircraft division to Germany’s air force. The Luftwaffe will use the Global 6000 business jets for political and parliamentary transport.
“Our Specialized Aircraft team has built long-standing relationships with governments around the world who trust in the safety and performance of our products,” said David Coleal, president, Bombardier Aviation.
Powered by Rolls-Royce BR710 engines, developed and manufactured by Rolls-Royce Deutschland in Dahlewitz, Germany, the Global 6000 has enough range for non-stop flights between continents. The Global 6000 also features a Bombardier Vision flight deck with a head-up display with both Enhanced and Synthetic Vision.
