Bombardier has delivered its 300th Challenger 350, and believes the aircraft reached the milestone faster than any other medium or large business jet. In 2018, Bombardier delivered 60 of the aircraft, which it says equates to 58% of all super mid-size deliveries across the market.
“The delivery of the 300th Challenger 350 business jet in only five years after its entry into service represents another exciting milestone for Bombardier, and underscores the trust our customers place in this industry-leading aircraft,” said Peter Likoray, senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Bombardier Business Aircraft.
The Challenger 350 accommodates up to 10 passengers and features a fully equipped galley, plus unrestricted access to the baggage compartment at all flight levels.
Bombardier recently announced a series of enhancements, including the availability of a compact Head-up Display and Enhanced Vision System, new cabin soundproofing and new cockpit aesthetics. A performance improvement package also allows the aircraft to fly up to 1,500 nautical miles further out of short runways, complementing steep approach certifications awarded by regulatory bodies including EASA, the FAA and TC.
Challenger aircraft are assembled at Bombardier Aviation’s facility in Montreal, Quebec. The site specialises in end-to-end assembly, completion, pre-flight and delivery activities for the Challenger 350 and Challenger 650 programmes.
