On June 1, 2017, FAI rent-a-jet’s fleet will be bolstered with a fourth Bombardier Global Express and a sixth Bombardier Challenger 604.
The Global Express XRS will be operated under Part-NCC (non-commercial operations) rules on the San Marino aircraft registry on behalf of a corporate client. The Challenger 604 will also be operated under Part-NCC rules, under the Cayman Islands registry. Both will be based at FAI’s headquarters in Nuremberg, Germany, and maintained by its MRO subsidiary, FAI Technik.
“I’m delighted to welcome these two excellent performing aircraft into our fleet and equally delighted to maintain our position as the largest business jet operator in Germany for the second year in succession,” said Siegfried Axtmann, founder and chairman at FAI. “Our primary goal is to continue to be one of the most profitable business jet operators in Europe and so far this year it is looking like we will achieve this yet again.”
FAI is a general aviation operator specializing in air ambulance services, as well as logistic flight support for NGOs in hostile areas. Its fleet includes four Global Express, six Challenger 604, 11 Learjet 60 and two Learjet 55 aircraft, plus a Premier 1A and a King Air 350.
