The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and TAG Aviation have launched a scholarship for cabin crew training.
It is available to EBAA’s WE-CARE members, in co-operation with the European Corporate Flight Attendants Committee (ECFAC). The closing date for applications is August 15, 2017, and the winner will be informed on August 31, 2017.
The scholarship marks TAG Aviation’s 10th anniversary providing pilot and cabin crew training. It will cover one person’s fee for a course leading to a UK CAA-approved EASA attestation.
The EASA Cabin Crew Attestation Training, valued at £700 (US$897), comprises a five- or seven-day course at TAG’s training center at Farnborough Airport in the UK.
“As the first provider in the UK to offer this training, we’ve seen many crew benefit from having an attestation to freelance within Europe,” said Debbie Elliott (above), training manager at TAG Global Training.
Applicants must be WE-CARE members who are 18 or over, and should submit a 200-word explanation of why they should receive the scholarship, along with a letter of recommendation from someone within the aviation industry. The scholarship does not include housing, transportation or other associated costs and must be taken up within one calendar year.
