Comlux Completion has made several organizational and operational changes ahead of its first wide-body completion project. Daron Dryer has been promoted into the CEO role formerly held by Scott Meyer. Meyer is now executive vice president of the Comlux Group.
Meyer has been with Comlux Completion practically since the inception of the company. He started his career at Comlux in 2009 as vice president of engineering. In March 2014 he was appointed chief operating officer, and in early 2015 he took the post as CEO of Comlux Completion.
Dryer became CEO on January 1, 2019. He has more than 20 years’ experience within the aviation industry. He joined Comlux in 2009 as director of engineering and was promoted to chief operating officer in 2017. Dryer has successfully integrated a technology and research center within Comlux, developing in-house solutions for VIP cabin outfitting.
“I would like to thank Scott for his performance and dedication during the last 10 years which have made Comlux Completion what it is today,” said Richard Gaona, chairman and CEO of Comlux. “Now, Daron has my full support and that of the board of directors to write a new chapter for Comlux Completion to become the center of excellence and innovation in VIP completion.”
