Iacobucci HF Aerospace has announced its seats are on board the new Four Seasons BBJ 757, which will be used for around-the-world trips. In collaboration with Four Seasons Hotels and Resort, TCS Expeditions and Factorydesign, Iacobucci HF Aerospace conceived a custom flat-bed seat.
The seat, made in Italy, has a bespoke, contemporary design. It is 21in wide and berths in full flat position. It is fully electromechanically operated and offers a range of pre-set or personally adjusted movements, all managed by software, allowing different configurations, from upright to full flat, with the touch of a button. The seat is equipped with a privacy divider, screen, ottoman, two PC power outlets, USB chargers, beverage holders and moodlighting on the aisle side. In addition, the jet has switch controls integrating flight attendant call and overhead reading light. The ottoman is fitted with a stowage compartment for personal amenities, and has additional USB chargers.
“We have developed a product tailored to the customer, who wanted the ultimate in terms of comfort and luxury for its passengers,” said Lucio Iacobucci, president and CEO of Iacobucci HF Aerospace. “It was not easy, but we succeeded in realizing in a single seat the highest in craftsmanship and technology, made in Italy. I am happy to see our seats finally fly on one of the most prestigious and luxurious jets in the world.”
The Boeing 757 has been converted from having 233 standard seats to 52 lie-flat seats in a four-abreast configuration.
