Under a new agreement, Iacobucci HF Aerospace will build and distribute Lufthansa Technik’s chair VIP seat family for the VIP and commercial aircraft market. Having now optimized the mechanical design, Iacobucci has already begun its first chair project, for the VIP launch customer.

The chair seat design has European Technical Standard Order 9g and 16g certification and can therefore be installed in any narrow- or wide-body aircraft. A fully functional and airworthy chair, inspired by a Pierrejean design, was publicly displayed at EBACE 2019, held in Geneva, Switzerland, in May.
