A new berthable divan has been unveiled by Starling Aerospace Interiors at Aircraft Interiors Expo, held in Hamburg, Germany, on April 5-7, 2016. The 91-in long modular sleeping solution is certified for 9g and 16g aircraft.
The berthable divan is available as a single (club-two configuration), three or four seater, and manually converts with a single motion into a flat bed. The divan is constructed from an aluminum frame for durability and lightness. It can be styled and upholstered to suit a variety of interiors. Optional extras include stowage doors, drawers and a plug-in arm.
Starling Aerospace Interiors is also displaying a trolley solution and a hi-lo table. The table can be manually adjusted to three height points so it can be stowed away under the berthable divan. The table can be custom built and finished with veneer, dip film, paint or leather. Optional chrome, gold-plated and leather-covered beauty rings are available.
