Townsend Leather has launched five new leather collections based around its theme for the year – The Touch of Leather. The company says its collections showcase upcoming trends including patinated metallics, rosy hues and Classic Blue, Pantone’s colour of the year.
The Stargazer Cowhide collection (pictured above) is hand-rubbed with metallic pigments accentuating the natural beauty of each hide. Offered in eight standard colours, these tonal tipped leathers are designed to be supple and luxurious.
Townsend’s Lustrous Gem Cowhide is also hand-rubbed with a pearlescent shimmery effect, to show off the gemstone colours. Lustrous Gem is offered as the hand-rubbed coordinate to three embossed patterns – a reptile print, Desert Lizard (pictured above); a geometric pattern, Granada; and an embossed weave, Industrial Basketweave.
Meanwhile, Pendant Cowhide (pictured above), part of the Stacy Garcia for Townsend Leather Collection, mimics a vision of draped crystals refracting rays of light, which is paired with the metallic hand-tipping to give a slightly distressed and elegant feel.
The Sticks & Stones collection (pictured top) has a bold, vertically embossed pattern. Rich, jewel-tone tipping colours highlight the pattern and add a touch of glam.
Lastly, Townsend Leather is adding to its in-stock leather offerings by growing the Perfectly Pebbled in-stock collection (pictured above) to 10 soft neutral colourways. This product is embossed with a small pebbled grain embossing and hand-tipped with a tone-on-tone finish.
