Sustainable Design Summit (SDS) has announced its transformation from annual summit to year-round sustainable design platform. The show’s new format has also expanded its audience to include all hospitality travel interiors including cruise, aviation, hotel and resort, rail and automotive.
Working Groups will take place throughout the year and are available to those working with hospitality travel interiors. The sustainability trends discussed and questions raised in each Working Group will inform the topics and session host of the following Working Group, creating a synergetic conversation that evolves in step with the participants’ knowledge. SDS Working Groups will include in-person events in Miami and London.
The first Working Group will take place online on 24 April. Attendees will drill down into the practical applications of data analysis and how to partner with suppliers to improve environmental outcomes in the session, ‘Impact analytics + 10 ways to use your data to drive sustainability improvements’. This session includes a project spotlight from a leading hotel brand on the success factors of their recent projects.
While the Summit moves to a bi-yearly schedule, SDS will curate annual in-person galleries showcasing next-generation sustainable products and solutions from interior suppliers working within the hospitality travel interiors industries. The 2024 Product Showcase will be located at CSI Design Expo Europe, at the ExCeL London, on 5-6 December. Visitors to the Product Showcase can expand their library of sustainable materials and develop connections with suppliers that can help them achieve their sustainability goals.
