Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) and Business Jet Interiors International have joined forces for a virtual industry roundtable on the topic of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) and business jet interior design requirements.
The discussion follows up on a survey commissioned by AIX that revealed the eVTOL cabin expectations of 250 UAE-based high-net-worth-individuals (HNWIs), as well as their attitudes to business jet interiors.

Expert speakers Kevin O’Brien, VP of operations and technical services at Tapis Corporation, Brendan Lanigan, director of product management at Heads Up Technologies, and Ben Orson, founder of Orson Associates, join moderator Izzy Kington, editor of Business Jet Interiors International, for the discussion.
Topics include personalisation, material choices, seating layouts, climate control, soundproofing, IFEC/CMS, lighting, noise reduction, tailoring interiors to the UAE market, and much more.
Aircraft Interiors Expo will take place in Halls B1-B7 at the Hamburg Messe, Germany, on 8-10 April 2025. The event will be co-located with the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) in Halls A1 and A4, following the Passenger Experience Conference (PEC) on 7 April. An AIX badge allows attendees free access to WTCE across the three show days. For more information or to register for 2025, visit the website.
A feature based on this roundtable – also including more of the survey findings – is available to read in the March/April 2025 edition of Business Jet Interiors International.
