In 2023 Duncan Aviation acquired a 10-year-old Pilatus PC-12 that it subsequently transformed inside and out. The company commissioned a one-off design from artist Derek DeYoung for the aircraft, reflecting Duncan Aviation board of directors chairman Todd Duncan’s passion for fishing and the outdoors.
The interior has a Western Nebraska feel highlighted by natural colours and leathers, contrast stitching, hydrographics, bold pops of colour, and an all-new Garmin flight deck.
In addition, a team at Duncan Aviation’s satellite shop in Denver, Colorado, implemented avionics upgrades.
Before any of the paint, interior or avionics work, the aircraft underwent maintenance work at KCAC Aviation in Olathe, Kansas.
